Contradiction...

im beginning to feel that life is a great big contradiction...

pple always say be happy with wat u have...dun ask for too much...but will we really be happy if we carry on with our current state??

if ur a small employee in a company...will u be contended with being shoved ard day after day while drawing tt miserly pay check?? will u be able to enjoy (not indulge in) small luxuries from time to time with tt salary??

and then theres the line "u will be happier if u don't compare with others"...we are constantly comparing ourselves with others...knowingly or not...if we dont do that...we may not have the motivation to strive to achieve more with our lives and get out of the said situation above...we do need other pple/things as benchmarks for certain matters...

say u've juz been to a big bungalow and marvelled at how beautiful and grand it was...and u compare n tell urself that from then on u have to work hard to afford something similar...
same thing for cars...u've always been happy with ur modest jap car till u've sat in a bmw/merc...then u see the diff n decide that u absolutely have to own one...

and then...there are pple out there who always believed that they dun want/dun need to obtain XXX...but once someone else says that they want it...they suddenly change their minds n wana get it as well...

these days (or has it been like that all these while?)...trust is an over-rated word...pple juz dun work that way anymore...i see all ard me...on tv...in the papers...among frens...we may well have to be sneaky cunning deceiving scheming to get what we want...

and y am i thinking abt all these??

coz ive been spending lotsa time cruising on expressways recently...at a comfortable speed on the left lane to save petrol...while listening to soothing music from class 95...so plenty of time for my mind to wander...

and of course...the 5 mins or so spent in the toilet each time i take a bath is always very productive and efficient...
