was walking in my carpark this afternoon when i saw a gray cat lying in btn 2 cars...usually i will juz walk past it but something caught my eye...it had a red patch on its neck area....
as i walked closer...realised that it had a gaping wound the size of my palm (i.e. fingers not included)...no kidding! it prob got injured not long ago coz wound was still bright red...if im not mistaken think i saw some bubbles on it as well...
anyway...i tried to approach it but it glared at me...then ran away...couldnt tell if it was abuse or accident...
i called the spca...they asked if i could bring the cat over...i said it ran away...they said that the cat had to be in confinement or they cant do anything abt it...hmm makes sense....
then i started to wonder...even if the cat had not ran away...would i be willing to carry a stray cat...which could still be in shock or affected by whateva happened...(and therefore possibly struggle n injure me)...in my car and send it over to mt vernon??
it is a stray afterall...so might be dirty...and who knows what it might do to the interior of my car...scratch here pee there blood on my seats...i have been painstakingly maintaining the cleaniness of my car all these years...
alternatively...would i be willing to spend the cab fare and the time to bring it over to the spca?
well my ans to both the qns is "no way"...
guess im not that kind-hearted afterall....
