2nd time this year...
went queensway to get a new pair of soccer shoes...happened to meet one of my ex-sch team member...his dad owns one of the larger shoe shops there and his family is damn rich...
anyway...today was his 1st day helping out at his dad's shop during his holidays so i tot i was really lucky n fated to meet him...and of course as the boss' son he was able to give his old fren a good price...
in addition...bot a couple of tops at another shop at 50% discount + a pair of shorts "with brand" at only 10 bucks...so left queensway thinking that it was a rather good day...until......
proceeded to tea garden with my baby to relak relak a bit...stayed there for a while and when i walked to my car to leave....i saw THAT dreaded long rectangular strip of paper on my windscreen...only diff is that the texture of the paper feels nicer than the last piece i received...
apparently i somehow dint spot the huge HDB parking sign there n mistook it for free parking...havent been there in a long time so i forgot...n i tot i heard one of my frens said it was free...must have got the message wrong...
hope that this is a blessing in disguise...coz every payment of bills at AXS stations gives a chance of winning a beetle...2 chances if paid at SPC AXS...huat ar!
