Anomaly...
woke up in the morning with a minor stomachache...went toilet twice and half hr late for sch...
went for lunch at thomson prata house...was looking for a space along the row of shops when a small boy suddenly emerged from among the vehicles parked on the left...happily sucking his lollipop or something similar...i missed hitting him by abt 2 metres or so...to be fair to him he did check for incoming traffic...but he was looking in the wrong direction...dint even seem to realise wat had happened...juz gave me a blank look...
skipped evening class....went bt batok to get stuff for dad b4 heading to vivocity with baby...despite taking that route countless times before...i missed the exit and ended up stuck in a mini-jam on the ECP...had to exit at rocher and backtracked to vivo...
met a used-to-be-close sec sch fren at vivo...i dint know what to say to her...im usually able to conjur up some stuff for small talk and quick chat...but my mind was blank...even the traditional "so where u working at now" wasnt asked....
had to make a u-turn along the way to baby's place....sort of misjudged the lane an oncoming cab is in and turned into his path...only got a honking + a stare from him and nothing more...if it were a normal passenger car i would say sorry...but i would NEVER EVER say sorry to a cab...i juz stared at him back n drove on...
at the entrance to my car park...a black cat was sitting in the middle of the road licking itself...it looked up...saw me...and boldly carried on licking...i approached it very very slowly and from my angle...i estimated that it only WALKED away slowly when my bumper was rite in front of his face...
when i entered my bathroom to bathe...i saw that the water scoop was in the toilet bowl...half filled with water...duno if the water is clean though...i have no idea who put it there...and why...
kind of a weird day...a series of unusual things happening...
and i was quite tired from all the driving and my contact lens was dry....
