sometimes i wonder why do parents of young kids have to address themselves in the 3rd person..."daddy buy for you", "come let mummy feed you" etc etc...
theres prob a good reason for that but im juz ignorant...when i hear them do that sometimes i will monkey see monkey do...after which i will feel weird...coz i dun understand why i did that as well...
anyway...it has been an enjoyable CNY so far...dint expect myself to have so much fun playing with the kids...hmm mayb im juz childish...immature...
one of my nieces, sarah, i think shes 3-4 years old...contracted chicken pox recently so she couldnt come over to visit...only her mum and her bro came over...she then called her mum and asked to speak to her "uncle ker lin" in that kiddy voice of hers...asking me to go over to play with her...buy pokemon stickers for her...haha...cute...after chatting with her for a while she had to go have her lunch...then she said she will call again later in the day...at 7pm...
wat surprised me was that she really called...but i was driving them out for dinner....so sarah's mum told her that i couldnt talk to her or police will catch me...haha...well i will prob go over to her place one of these weekends to play with her...
another of my nephews is now 15 years old...and going after a girl...i might ask him out one of these days for pool...then mayb...hopefully...i can do my duty as an uncle and teach him a thing or two about wooing girls...he is already tall, dark and handsome so thats half the battle won...
although im not married...i will prob give some of them ang baos either next year or the year after...provided they continue to be so loveable...and provided i have a good enough income...hee...
